NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory
and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-)
battery terminal.

5. REMOVE ROPE HOOK 

6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

7. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH 

8. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

9. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Air

Conditioning Unit (for Rear Side)/Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH 

13. REMOVE ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and sensor with bracket.

NOTICE:
-

Avoid any impact to the suspension control acceleration sensor.

-

Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

-

The acceleration sensor removed from the vehicle must not be placed upside down.

Installation

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the acceleration sensor with bracket with the bolt.

Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)
