1. CHECK DTC

(a) Check the DTC See: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Rear Door Sunshade System.

Result

B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (DOOR SUNSHADE OPERATION)

(a) Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester or Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the rear door sunshade

operates.
(1) Intelligent tester

(2) Techstream

Rear Left Door

OK:
Rear curtain is operated normally.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CURTAIN LH - REAR DOOR ECU LH)
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CURTAIN LH - REAR DOOR ECU LH)

(a) Disconnect the O15 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the O16 curtain connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
