INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Check the DTCs See: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Rear Sunshade System.

Result

C -- GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (SUNSHADE OPERATION)

(a) Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester or Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the shade raises/lowers.

(1) Intelligent tester

BODY NO. 4

(2) Techstream

Body No. 4

OK:
Rear sunshade raises or lowers
NG -- INSPECT FUSE (RR S/SHADE)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (STATUS OF REAR SUNSHADE CLOSE)
