Introduction
Production changes have been made to improve the opening performance of the rear hatch on 1999 - 2000 model year RX 300 vehicles.

Door Handle Mounting Location Adjustment
To reduce the gap (free play) between the door handle push rod arm of the door lock control, the mounting location of the door handle has been
lowered by 1.7 mm.

Molybdenum Coating Adoption to the Lock Mechanism
The back door lock mechanism has been molybdenum coated to decrease the friction inside the back door lock assembly.
