Connecting Rod Bolts

Standard Diameter .......................................................................................................................................................  7.2 - 7.3 mm (0.284 - 0.287 inch) 
Minimum Diameter ..........................................................................................................................................................................  7.0 mm (0.276 inch) 
Tightening torque:

Step 1  .............................................................................................................................................................................................  24.5 Nm (18 ft lb)
Step 2  ............................................................................................................................................................................................................  Turn 90°

Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the heads of the connecting rod cap bolts.

-

Install and alternately tighten the 2 connecting rod cap bolts in several passes.
