Set the memory seat to position 1 prior to disconnecting the battery. Reset position 1 when repair is complete.

Never use a back-up power supply from another battery to avoid erasing the memory functions.

Register the key transmitters, recognition codes (for all the customer's key transmitters) after replacing the Body ECU.

WORK PROCEDURE

1.

DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE (-) BATTERY TERMINAL

(a)

Record audio station presets.

(b)

Set memory seats to position 1.

(c)

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2.

REMOVE LOWER FINISH PLATE

Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips and remove the lower finish plate.

NOTE:

Tape the screwdriver tip before using on any of the finish plates or panels.
