Introduction 
In some cases the U140E, F transaxle in 1999 - 2000 model year ES 300 and RX 300 vehicles may leak automatic transmission fluid from the counter
gear speed sensor bolt hole. The repair procedure for this condition is described in this bulletin.

Applicable Warranty *:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Powertrain Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 72 months or 70,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the
vehicle's in-service date.
