a. Place matchmarks on the inboard joint sub-assembly and outboard joint shaft.
b. Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring.
c. Slide the inboard joint boot toward outboard joint.

d. Using SST, a 17 mm socket wrench and press, remove the inboard joint sub-assembly from the outboard WON shaft.

e. Remove the bolts, nuts and washers.
f.

Using a screwdriver and hammer, pry around the whole perimeter of the inboard joint cover.

g. Using a screwdriver, remove the inboard joint sub-assembly from the inboard joint cover.

NOTICE:  When lifting the inboard joint, hold onto the inner race and outer race.

5. REMOVE INBOARD AND OUTBOARD JOINT BOOTS AND CLAMPS

Slide out the 2 boots and 4 clamps.

6. REMOVE DUST COVER

a. LH Drive shaft: Using a screwdriver, remove the dust cover.

b. RH Drive shaft: Using a press, remove the transaxle side dust cover.

7. RH DRIVE SHAFT DISASSEMBLE INBOARD JOINT SHAFT

a. Using SST and a press, remove the bearing side dust cover.

b. Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring.
