Cut Cable Tie Cut off the cable tie, as shown in the illustration.

Reconnect Negative Battery Terminal.

Check SRS Diagnosis

About 6 seconds after turning the ignition switch ON, check that the SRS warning light in the combination meter turns off.

If the SRS warning light flashes or stays ON, the connector could be disconnected or a wire in the wire harness could be broken or short circuited.
Check the applicable circuit for the DTC reading (refer to the Repair Manual).

Check Lexus Link System.

Check the Lexus link system. See step 1 in this TSB.

Install Instrument Panel J/B.

Install Instrument Panel Lower.

A.

Install the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No. 1 with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 7.6 N.m (78 kgf.cm, 68 in..lbf).

B.

Connect the airbag connector and install the clamp.

Install Instrument Panel Finish Panel Lower.

26.

Install Cowl Side Trim LH.

27.

Install Floor Carpet Assembly.
