Fuel Door Release Cable: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT 

HINT:  The installation is in the reverse order of the removal. However, when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (60/40 SPLIT SEAT TYPE)
2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

a. Remove the rear door scuff plate.
b. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.
c. Remove the deck board.
d. Remove the tonneau cover.
e. Remove the deck floor box front.
f.

Remove the deck floor box rear.

g. Remove the deck board No. 2.
h. Remove the deck board No. 3.
i.

Remove the back door weatherstrip.

j.

Remove the deck side trim box LH.

k. Remove the deck side trim box RH.
l.

Remove the rear floor finish plate.

m. Remove the rear floor finish side plate.
n. Remove the deck side trim cover.
o. Remove the rear seat side cover.
p. Remove the 2 rope hooks.
q. Remove the deck trim side panel.

3. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL ASSEMBLY

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the nut and fuel lid lock control.

4. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER
