Lay down a plastic sheet before starting repairs on a work bench or floor.

Always carry out the work on the sheet to prevent any scratches to the grille assembly.
^
Follow the instructions carefully to NOT scratch the grille during assembly.

Apply protective tape on the hood as shown in gray in the illustration.
2.
Open the hood.
