With Manufacturer's Scan Tool

CHECK DTC

Checking DTCs.

1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Read DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.

HINT:  Refer to the hand-held tester operator's manual for further details.

With Generic Scan Tool

CLEAR DTC

Clearing the DTCs.

1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Erase the DTCs following the prompts on the tester screen.

KEY REMINDER BUZZER DOES NOT SOUND

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is OFF, the key is in the ignition key cylinder and the driver side door is opened, the multiplex network body ECU transmits a
key switch signal and a driver side courtesy switch signal to the combination meter which causes the buzzer to sound.
