Introduction

As a result of the removal of the Short Pin, the "automatic open and close" and "Jam protection" functions of the power back door will be inoperative
due to loss of the power back door position memory.

When the Short Pin is reinstalled, the body ECU is initialized. The power back door will be automatically locked. It is necessary to unlock the power
back door using the door control switch or transmitter switch.

Initialize the power back door after installing the Short Pin into its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) at the dealership.

NOTE:

Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power back door must be re-initialized.

2007 model year RX 350 vehicles.
