6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

(a) Disengage the 2 claws to release the lock as shown in the illustration and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

HINT
The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

HINT
The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

Installation

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Front Side): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

(a) Temporarily install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the front bumper with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

*

Securely install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there are no gaps between the retainer and surface of the front
bumper.

When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and protrusion as shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultra sonic sensor retainer.
