Removal

DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR TOUCH SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BASE   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

3. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE WITH SWITCH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

4. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY   See: Lighting and Horns/Trunk Lamp/Service and Repair/Removal

6. REMOVE BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER LH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

7. REMOVE BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER RH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

8. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

9. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

10. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

11. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR TOUCH SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 4 screws.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the power back door touch sensor assembly.
