Power Back Door Control Switch

DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH

(a) Check the operation of the control switch.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door control switch.

(b) Check that the switch illuminates.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the power back door control switch and check that the switch illuminates.

OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb.
