Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair
Installation

DOOR LOCK: BACK DOOR LOCK: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Back Door)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly.

(b) Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Back Door)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly.

(b) Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(c) Install the bolt.

Torque : 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(d) Engage the clamp.

(e) Connect the connector.

5. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH   See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Reassembly

6. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER LH   See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Reassembly

7. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER RH   See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Reassembly
