(10)Turn the power switch on (IG).

(11)Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Utility / Air Bleeding.

(12)Select the "Actuator has been removed" and bleed brake system according to the Techstream display.

(13)After air bleeding, tighten each bleeder plug.

front bleeder plug - Torque : 8.3 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 73 in-lbf)

rear bleeder plug - Torque : 11 Nm (110 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

(b) Clear the DTCs    See: Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Turn the Techstream off and turn the power switch off.

(d) Inspect for brake fluid leaks.

(e) Adjust the brake fluid level in the reservoir    See: Hydraulic System/Brake Fluid/Testing and Inspection.

3. BLEED BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER

(a) Bleed brake master cylinder.

(1) Remove the brake master cylinder reservoir filler cap assembly.

(2) Add brake fluid into the reservoir between MAX and MIN level on the brake fluid reservoir.

Brake fluid:

SAE J1703 or FMVSS No. 116 DOT3

(3) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3 and turn the power switch on (IG).

(4) Turn the Techstream on and enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Utility / Air Bleeding.

(5) Select the "Master Cylinder or Stroke Simulator has been removed" and bleed brake master cylinder according to the Techstream display.

(6) After air bleeding, tighten each bleeder plug.

front bleeder plug - Torque : 8.3 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 73 in-lbf)

rear bleeder plug - Torque : 11 Nm (110 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

(b) Clear the DTCs    See: Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Turn the Techstream off and turn the power switch off.

(d) Inspect for brake fluid leaks.

(e) Adjust the brake fluid level in the reservoir    See: Hydraulic System/Brake Fluid/Testing and Inspection.
