(2) Move the shift lever to P and apply the parking brake.

(3) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(4) Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.

(c) Check operation without the brake booster.

(1) Inspect and adjust the brake pedal    See: Brake Pedal Assy/Adjustments.

(2) To prohibit the brake control, enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Utility / ECB (Electronically Controlled Brake

system) Utility / ECB (Electronically Controlled Brake system) Invalid.

(3) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List "Master Cylinder Sensor", "Master Cylinder Sensor 2", "Stroke Sensor"

and "Stroke Sensor 2".

(4) Check the value output from "Voltage of Master Cylinder Sensor", "Voltage of Master Cylinder Sensor 2", "Stroke Sensor" and "Stroke

Sensor 2" by depressing the brake pedal.

Standard Voltage:

(5) Finish the brake control prohibition on the Techstream.

(d) Check operation with the brake booster.

(1) Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.

(2) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List "Stroke Sensor" and "Stroke Sensor 2".

(3) Depress the brake pedal 4 or 5 times.

(4) Check the value output from "Stroke Sensor" and "Stroke Sensor 2" by depressing the brake pedal.
