Coolant (for Engine)

2GR-FXE COOLING: COOLANT (for Engine): REPLACEMENT

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before service    See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service Precautions/Air Suspension
System.

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)

NOTICE:
Do not remove the radiator cap, cylinder block drain cock plugs and radiator drain cock plug while the engine and radiator are still
hot. Pressurized hot engine coolant and steam may be released and cause serious burns.

(a) Loosen the radiator drain cock plug and drain the coolant.

HINT
Collect the coolant in a container and dispose of it according to the regulations in your area.

(b) Remove the radiator cap from the radiator assembly.

(c) Loosen the 2 cylinder block drain cock plugs.

8. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)

(a) Tighten the radiator drain cock plug by hand.

(b) Tighten the 2 cylinder block drain cock plugs.

Torque : 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
