Oil Pressure Sender: Testing and Inspection

2GR-FXE LUBRICATION: OIL PRESSURE SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the oil pressure switch assembly connector.

(b) Put the engine in inspection mode    See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics.

(c) Start the engine.

(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switch assembly.

(e) Reconnect the oil pressure switch assembly connector.
