Removal
PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Navigation System for HDD) See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Navigation System for HDD)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Removal
5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

12. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disengage the clamp and remove the clearance warning buzzer.
