Temperature Switch (Warning Indicator): Service and Repair
Removal

2GR-FXE COOLING: TEMPERATURE SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

CAUTION:

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair/Coolant (for Engine)

8. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal

9. REMOVE TEMPERATURE SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the temperature switch connector.

(b) Using a union nut wrench (19 mm), remove the temperature switch.

NOTICE:
Do not apply any excessive force to the cooler pipe when removing the temperature switch.
