NG --  REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BUS BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CAN NO. 1 J/C - STEERING ANGLE
SENSOR)

OK --  REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE WITH STEERING ANGLE SENSOR  See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes /
Traction Control Systems/Steering Angle Sensor/Service and Repair/Removal

8. CHECK FOR SHORT TO GND IN CAN BUS WIRE (CAN NO. 1 J/C - COMBINATION METER)

(a) Disconnect the combination meter connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

9. CHECK FOR SHORT TO GND IN CAN BUS WIRE (CAN NO. 1 J/C - MAIN BODY ECU)

(a) Disconnect the main body ECU connector.
