Removal

2GR-FXE EMISSION CONTROL: CANISTER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing    See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service Precautions/Suspension
Control System.

2. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER

(a) Remove the 7 bolts and 2 screws.

(b) Disconnect the 3 clips and remove the front center floor cover.

5. REMOVE REAR ENGINE SERVICE COVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and rear engine service cover assembly.

6. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the vent line tube from the charcoal canister assembly.
