Throttle Body: Service and Repair
Removal

2GR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

1. REPLACE PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing    See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service Precautions/Air

2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Front Wiper

Motor/Removal.

3. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP (w/ Air Suspension)   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Strut / Shock

Absorber/Service and Repair/Front Shock Absorber (w/ Air Suspension)/Removal

4. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Hydraulic System/Brake Master Cylinder/Service

and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair/Coolant (for Engine)

8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Removal

11. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE

(a) Separate the mass air flow meter connector and wire harness clamp.

(b) Separate the fuel vapor feed hose from the 2 hose clamps.

(c) Disconnect the ventilation hose.

(d) Loosen the hose clamp and separate the air cleaner hose from the throttle body.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and remove the air cleaner assembly with hose.
