Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
Removal

2GR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing    See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service Precautions/Air
Suspension System.

2. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the EGR cooler assembly    See: Emission Control Systems/Exhaust Gas Recirculation/EGR Cooler/Service and Repair/Removal.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 EGR COOLER BRACKET   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Unit/Removal

4. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 6 ignition coil connectors.

(b) Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coils.

5. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

(a) Remove the 6 spark plugs.
