Seat Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Removal

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: SEAT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat

4. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and

5. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and

6. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and

7. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat

9. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

(c) Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
