Installation

Fuel Lid Opener Switch

DOOR / HATCH: FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the fuel lid opener switch as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Air Suspension)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

6. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Air Suspension)

   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic )/Testing and Inspection/Scan Tool Testing and
Procedures/Test Mode Procedure

Fuel Lid Courtesy Switch

DOOR / HATCH: FUEL LID COURTESY SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL LID COURTESY SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the clamp and temporarily install the fuel lid courtesy switch assembly.

(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Install the fuel lid courtesy switch assembly with the nut from outside the vehicle.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
