Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
Removal

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Air Suspension)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

7. REMOVE ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disconnect the connector and aspirator pipe to remove the room temperature sensor.
