Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable and disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/AIRBAG SYSTEM
DISARMING.
2.
On SC 300 & SC 400 models, Remove No.1 undercover and No.1 lower finish panel.
3.
On ES 300 Models, remove front pillar garnish, front inside scuff plate, front door opening cover, cowl side trim and safety pad No. 2.
4.
On LS 400 models, remove undercover, lower pad, key cylinder pad, No. 3 finish panel mounting bracket and No. 2 heater to register duct.
5.
On all models, ensure steering wheel and front wheels are in straight ahead position.
6.
Remove steering wheel and pad as previously described under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY
COMPONENTS/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR/STEERING WHEEL.
7.
Remove screws and steering column covers.
8.
Remove four switch attaching screws, then disconnect electrical connectors.
9.
Remove combination switch from steering column,
10.
Reverse procedure to install.
