Alignment: Service and Repair
Front Wheel Alignment
1. Measure vehicle height.
Tire size: 225/55R 16
Height:
Front: 190.5 mm (7.500 inch).
Rear: 246.2 mm (9.693 inch).
Front measuring point:
Front Wheel Alignment
Measure from the ground to the center of the lower suspension arm front mounting bolt.
Rear measuring point:
Rear
Measure from the ground to the center of the No. 2 lower suspension arm mounting bolt.
NOTICE: Before inspecting the wheel alignment, adjust the vehicle height to the specification.
If the vehicle height is not within the standard, try to adjust it by pushing down on or lifting the body.
2. Install camber-caster-kingpin gauge position vehicle on wheel alignment tester. Follow the specific instructions of the equipment manufacturer.
3. Inspect camber, caster and steering axis inclination.
Camber: 0°02' +/- 45' (0.03° +/- 0.75°).
Left-Right error: 30' (0.5°) or less.
Caster: 3°01' +/- 45' (3.02° +/- 0.75°).
Left-Right error: 30' (0.5°) or less.
Steering axis inclination: 9°02' +/- 45' (9.03° +/- 0.75°).
