(e) Using SST oil filter wrench, give it an additional 3/4 turn to seat the filter.

5. Clean the drain plug, using a new gasket install it, then tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
6. Fill with new engine oil.

Oil grade:
-

API grade SH, Energy-Conserving II or ILSAC multigrade engine oil.

Recommended viscosity is as shown in the illustration, with SAE 5W-30 being the preferred engine oil.

Capacity:

Dry fill: 6.3 liters (6.7 US quarts).
Drain and refill:

With oil filter change: 5.1 liters (5.4 US quarts).
With out oil filter change: 4.8 liters (5.1 US quarts).

7. Reinstall the oil filler cap.
8. Start engine and check for oil leaks.
9. Check engine oil level.

10. Install engine under cover.
11. Install oil pan protector.
