Alignment: Description and Operation
Wheel Alignment Angles
Camber is adjusted by rotating cam bolts that are located at the forward pivot bushing of the lower control arms. A retaining flag must be removed and
discarded prior to adjusting.
Caster is adjusted by loosening the lower arm rearward pivot bushing nut and moving the arm inward or outward. When adjusting the LH caster, a
centering washer must be removed and discarded prior to adjusting.
Toe is adjusted by loosening the spindle tie-rod jam nut and rotating the spindle tie rod.
Camber
Camber is the vertical tilt of the wheel when viewed from the front. Camber can be positive or negative and has a direct effect on tire wear.
