Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve: Testing and Inspection

1.

Warm up engine to the normal operating temperature and run at idle speed.

2.

Disconnect the PCV valve together with the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.

3.

Close the PCV valve opening with fingers Fig. 16. Make sure air is sucked into the PCV valve, if not correct replace the valve.
