dash warning light for illumination. Repeat three (3) times on each side (driver's and passenger's).

If the dash light illuminates (even monetarily) replace the retractor switch as outlined in the Repair Procedure.

If the light does not illuminate, refer to wiring diagram for repair information.

Repair Procedure

1.

Remove key from ignition.

2.

Remove rear console (arm rest).

3.

Disconnect the retractor switch harness and remove connector from bracket.

4.

Release shoulder belts from buckles.

5.

Pull the driver's side belt out fully.

6.

Measure from the retractor and place a piece of masking tape at the appropriate distance. Refer to Fig. 1.

7.

Retract the belt to this mark and fix it in place with a binder clip. Refer to Fig. 1
