VARIABLE INTAKE AIR SOLENOID VALVE INSPECTION [L5]

1. Remove the variable intake air solenoid valve.  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair

2. Inspect airflow between the ports under the following conditions.
