Clutch Switch: Testing and Inspection
CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION (CPP) SWITCH INSPECTION[AJ]
NOTE: Perform the following inspection only when directed.
Continuity Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the clutch switch.
3. Inspect for continuity between the clutch switch terminals B and D using an ohmmeter.

If the clutch switch is okay, but the PID value is out of specification, perform the "Circuit Open/Short Inspection".

If not as specified, replace the clutch switch.
Circuit Open/Short Inspection
1. Disconnect the PCM connector.
2. Inspect the following harness for open or short circuit. (Continuity check)
Open circuit

Clutch switch terminal B and PCM terminal 1AB
-
Clutch switch terminal D and body ground
