Cruise Control Switch: Testing and Inspection
CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION [MZI-3.7]
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable wait for 1 min more.
2. Remove the driver-side air bag module. See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and

3. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector. See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Radio/Stereo/Remote
Switch/Service and Repair
4. Inspect for resistance and continuity between cruise control switch terminals B-C using a tester.

If not as specified, replace the audio control switch. See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact
Disc/Radio/Stereo/Remote Switch/Service and Repair
5. Apply battery positive voltage to audio control switch terminal D, and connect terminal E to ground.
6. Verify that the LED illuminates.
