Air Duct: Service and Repair

REAR HEAT DUCT COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts: 

a. Front seats  See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

b. Front scuff plates  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

c. Front side trims  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

d. Steering shaft cover  See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Steering Wheel And Column

Removal/Installation [Without Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System] See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering
Column/Service and Repair/Steering Wheel And Column Removal/Installation [With Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System]

e. Upper panel  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Panel

Removal/Installation

Decoration panel  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Decoration Panel Removal/Installation

g. Shift knob (MTX)  See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter M/T/Locations

h. Shift panel  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Shift Panel

k. Fuel-filler lid opener bezel  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Fuel Door/Service and Repair/Fuel-Filler Lid Opener Bezel

Removal/Installation

3. Turn the floor covering over.  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
