About the 626
The 626 is the export name of the Mazda Capella, a mid-size car made from 1970 to 2002 and replaced by the Mazda6. Ford, Mazda's partner at the time, used the same platform for the Ford Telstar and Ford Probe, and over 4.3 million 626s and Telstars were sold.
What these manuals cover
- 1982–1987 (third generation): the 2.0-litre four, the 2.0 diesel, and the 2.0 turbo of the 626 GT from 1986.
