DESCRIPTION
The electrical systems such as wiper, air conditioner fan, etc. may sometimes become inoperative due to improper contact inside the ignition switch. This
malfunction may result in an inoperative cooling fan in some cases, or possibly an overheated engine in the worst case.
In order to make a secure internal contact, the terminal base has been thickened to increase the contact pressure since November, 1986..

REPAIR PROCEDURE
Install the modified part. Because the part number of the IG switch has not been changed, please distinguish one new part by the stamp on the IG switch
as follows.
NOTE:
Please use the IG switches which were produced on and after November 6, 1986.
