DESCRIPTION
If the following conditions occur within 15 seconds after a cold start in a 1986-87 626, install the repair kit according to the procedures shown in this
bulletin.
^
Engine speed drops excessively for a few seconds and occasionally stalls.
^
Engine speed drops excessively with N-D shifting and occasionally stalls.
These conditions are most likely to occur at an outside temperature of 64~F - 80~F (17~C - 27~C). This repair kit functions only within the first 15
seconds following the engine start.
NOTE:
In order to standardize the individual parts of the countermeasure kit, some of the components have had minor changes. Step 4 of the Installation
Procedures has been changed as well as the "Part No. of Main Cause" listed in the Warranty Information.
