Installation of Wire Harness (with & without Turbo)

A.

Connect the wire harness (FEY2 67 SHO) to the control unit in the repair kit.

B.

Install the control unit to the upper left of the E.C.U. with two screws.

C.

Disconnect the wire harness at X-09 (yellow) and connect two ends of wire harness (FEY2 67 SHO) to X-09
(yellow) as illustrated.

D.

Install the ground wire (black) with bolt (# 10) and tighten.

E.

Fasten the wire harness with three bands as shown.

F.

Pass the remaining one end of the wire harness through the rubber seal in the firewall and connect it to the solenoid
valve which was installed in step 2.

G.

Fasten the wire harness with the band as indicated.

NOTE:
Apply sealing agent fully at the rubber seal, otherwise water or gas fumes will get into the cabin through the clearance of
the rubber seal.

5.

Adjustment of Idle Speed

Adjust the idle speed to the upper limit of specification according to the 1987 626 Workshop Manual, page 4A-60
(Non-Turbo) and page 4B-66 (Turbo).

Attachment of Vacuum Hose Label (only for California spec.)
