INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

A. GLC 1981-1985 MODEL YEAR GLC WAGON 1979-1986 MODEL YEAR
1.
Remove the rear seat cushion.
2.
Remove the rear outer and inner lap belts.
3.
Remove the rear pillar trim caps.
4.
Install the new rear outer, inner lap belts and shoulder belts (as shown in illustration).
NOTE:
^ Spacer Thickness (*) 0.2 in. (5 mm)
^
Specified Tightening Torque (**) 28-58 ft.lb. (3.9-8.0 m-Kg, 38-78 N-m)
5.
Reinstall the rear seat cushion.
