Description:
The following procedure has been established to correct audio noise from the electric tuning radio.
1)
Audio noise when the radio is turned "ON" or "OFF".
Modified radios have been installed at the factory beginning with the following VINs:
JM1GC311 D1509027 JM1GC241 D1503447 JM1GC221 D1512385
This modified radio is now available at the Fujitsu radio exchange stations.
If customers mention about this noise, please contact Fujitsu station for the radio exchange program.
2)
Audio noise when operating the remote control outside rear view mirror.
A filter kit to minimize this noise has been established as service parts.

Kit Component Parts:
. GA97 76 991 (1 pc). Noise filter for left hand side mirror . GA97 76 992 (1 pc). Noise filter for right hand side mirror
Installation:
These filters should be installed to the connectors (I-10 and I-12 in the Workshop Manual, page 16:30) located in both the left and right hand side hinge
