DESCRIPTION
A rattle noise may be heard from the right rear corner of the vehicle while traveling on rough roads. The rattle is caused by the pre-muffler bracket
hitting the body of the vehicle.
If a customer complains of this rattling noise, inspect and repair the vehicle according to the instructions below.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify the complaint.

Safely raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING:
PUT ON HEAT PROTECTIVE GLOVES BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE FOLLOWING STEP.

Grasp the end of the tail pipe and move it toward the outside of the vehicle.
^
Observe the hanger bracket on the pre-muffler.
