Accessing Diagnostic Codes
1. Locate cruise control unit connector.
2. Connect a 1.4 watt test lamp between terminals shown with connector attached to the control unit, Fig. 3 and 4.

3. Turn ignition switch to On position.
4. To access condition detection mode, turn cruise control on using main switch, then turn and hold Resume/Accel witch for more than three seconds.
The test lamp will illuminate for three seconds and go out for two seconds.
5. The self diagnostic system is activated and the test light will flash if a problem is present. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Interpretation for
further information regarding interpretation of test light flashes and specific diagnostic trouble codes.
Diagnostic Trouble Code Interpretation
1. Note test light flash pattern when equipment is connected as described under Accessing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
2. If condition detection mode was used, refer to Fig. 8 for flash pattern interpretation, diagnostic trouble code causes and corrective actions.
