Anti-Lock Brake System Motor Relay: Testing and Inspection

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable, then raise the motor relay lock from hydraulic unit, then remove relay.

2.

Check for continuity between relay terminals, Figs. 36 and 37.

3.

If continuity is not as specified, replace motor relay.

4.

If continuity is as specified, check the wiring harness between motor relay and control unit main fuse.
