Clutch Pedal Assembly: Service and Repair
CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

The clutch pedal is serviced with the brake pedal as an assembly only.
1. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the clutch master cylinder rod from the clutch pedal pin.
2. Remove the LH cowl side trim panel.
3. Remove the parking brake control bolts, then position the parking brake control aside.

To install, tighten to 2.5 Nm (22 lb-in).
4. Remove the parking brake control bolts, then position the parking brake control aside.

To install, tighten to 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m, 15 lb-ft).
5. Remove the retaining ring, then slide the clutch pedal from the clutch and brake pedal support.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Inspect the bushings for wear or damage, install new bushings as necessary.

Lubricate the clutch pedal shaft with grease.
